In addition to the mostly Carolina Sky Blue (or University Blue) editions, Jordan Brand’s For The Love Of The Game Collection will also consist the Air Jordan VII (7) Retro in its original colorway. Worn by Michael Jordan during the 1992 Summer Olympic in Barcelona, where he led the Dream Team to a Gold Medal. To coincide with the induction of 1992 Dream Team to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame tonight, Jordan Brand will re-launch the Air Jordan VII (7) Olympic as part of the For the Love of the Game Collection, essentially in the Olympic’s original colorways with an addition of “basketball-heart” embroidery in gold thread.
The Air Jordan VII (7) Olympic – For The Love Of The Game Edition will be available at select Jordan retail locations, including NikeTown, NikeStore.com, and Paul Rodriguez’s Primitive in California.
These are a limited edition version and are being sold in high end retail stores for $150. Since being released on Friday the 13th of August, retailers have already bumped the price up to prices of $300+!! You snooze you lose...
