Cool Grey MADNESS

The Cool Grey Jordans were the cause of a pretty big fuss when they were released on the general public on Thursday, as the race to acquire the exclusive sneakers got downright ugly in several places.
Indeed, you may have seen the reports from NBA Dallas that police were forced to use pepper spray to subdue an unruly crowd of around 500 people outside the Town East Mall.
So with such ruckus going on, the answer must be yes, the shoes really are that exclusive.
To be sure, there is a bit of history regarding the shoes. They were the sneakers that Michael Jordan himself wore in his final NBA game, and were released for just one day in March of 2001 for $125. Their new release bumped the cost up to $175, and they have been going for as high as $500 on Ebay.
This no doubt sounds odd to those who are not big sneaker collectors. But make no mistake, for those who do hoard sneakers, the latest Jordans are basically antiquities, and the Cool Greys are the Holy Grail.
And like the real thing, these shoes are apparently worth fighting for.
