Freddy Might Be Back On Elm St.

Though the first flick was a box-office dud, the "Nightmare on Elm Street" series, which followed the bloody exploits of the infamous Freddy Krueger, grew up to become a profitable Hollywood enterprise. Director Wes Craven led his blade-fingered villain through 11 flicks and into the nightmares of youth everywhere.
Now, there may be a 12th installment in the works. New Line is in talks with horror production company Platinum Dunes to relaunch the series, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Captain America (July, 2009)???

The movie will start shooting in mid 2008 with Nick Cassavetes (Alpha Dog, The Notebook, John Q) rumored to be the movie's director and a release date of July 2009. Paramount Pictures will be the movie's main distributor and there is still much to be decided as far as who will play Captain America but if this movie is anything like any of Nick's last couple of movies prepare yourself for a flop. Hopefully, he will come through. Stay tuned to the shop for any updates on the film.
